About Church
2016年1月3日に、臼井泰輔、伊藤哲、名古屋佳孝の3人のメンバーでLighthouse Baptist Churchは、はじまり、日本初のハモンドオルガンとドラムのある伝統的なゴスペル音楽の溢れる教会として、産声を上げました。毎週日曜日に新潟市の施設をお借りして、10人～20人が集まり賛美と礼拝を捧げていました。
会堂も讃美歌集もなにもない状態でのはじまりでしたが、イエス・キリストがともにいることを一番と喜びとし、ともに賛美し礼拝できる祝福への感謝と、福音の発信の情熱とで溢れています。主イエスの祝福のもと、2017年にはLBCクワイアー、バイブル・リーディング・クラブ、LBCサポートクラブが設立されました。
2019年10月までで、21人の受洗者が与えられました。また、2018年より長岡市、東京お茶の水で月一の定期礼拝と新潟市西蒲区で毎週日曜日午後15:00～、巻ファミリーチャーチの協力牧師として午後の礼拝でタイスケ牧師がメッセージをしています。
2019年10月より新潟市中央区西堀通に新会堂が与えられ、そこで毎週日曜日に礼拝を捧げています。
Lighthouse Baptist Church was founded by Rev.Taisuke Usui, Satoshi Ito, and Nagoya yoshitaka in Niigata-city, Japan in January 3rd, 2016. On our kick-start, there were no building, no podium, no hymnal books, no Bible for visitors. We just have the passion to deliver the Word and joy to worship Him.
Using public spaces, we worship the Lord every Sunday morning with from 10 to 20. Until October 2018, 15 people were saved and baptized in Japan through LBC ministry.
With His mercy and blessing, in 2017, LBC gospel choir, Bible reading Club, LBC supporters club were established.
From 2018, we have started the worship service in Tokyo and Nagaoka-City once a month and Pastor Taisuke Usui start to take care of a family church at Nishikan-Ku, Niigata-City as a cooperation pastor.
将来の展望
Vision
生まれたばかりの教会ですが、将来的には、教会堂をもち、マス・クワイアー、ユース・クワイアー、男性クワイアー、女性クワイアーなどが交代で日曜日に賛美し、平日の聖書勉強会、子供教室なども充実した地域コミュニティのクリスチャンセンターとしてイエス・キリストの栄光を現わせる教会と成長していきたいです。
バザーなどでは、妖怪ウォッチのキャラクターやエアートランポリン、なんて子供が喜びそうなものを駐車場に置いたり・・地域に愛され、日本中や海外からも人が遊びに来て、音楽と、楽しみ、学べる喜びに溢れ、それに乗っかって「福音」が広がっていくような教会を建ち上げたいです。
なによりも、イエス・キリストを主とし、教会がともにある生活が「お気に入りだなぁ」 「好きだなぁ」と各自が思える教会へと成長していきたいです。
We are a new born, infant church but God gives us great vision in us.
In the future, we want to have a church building. it will become worship center in our town., They worship Him, praise Him, pray to Him, study the Word, and give Him glory there. Mass choir,Male, Female, and youth choirs will praise Him there. On the train with joy and peace in Him there, gospel will deliver each person. His glory give the light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death which means those who have not known Jesus and been saved in our hometown. (In Japan, it is said that Christians belonging the church is only 0.2 percent of the whole population and almost Japanese don't see the Bible and church in their whole life.)

Worship Experience
どなたでも、ご参加ください。持ち物、服装なども気にしないでＯＫです。
「朝っぱらからゴスペル歌ってみようかな？」「プロミュージシャンの演奏聞きに行ってみるか？」「5オクターブの音域で歌いまくる牧師ってなんだ？」
なんてのもＯＫです。
クリスチァンでない方も、全く遠慮せずにいらしてください。
日曜礼拝は朝10時からです。
You can join our worship freely. You don't have to dress up or prepare anything. Just come with your heart to the Lord and let's praise Him and worship Him together!!
Our Sunday service is started from 10 a.m. Bible Study is at 19:30 every Wednesday and Choir rehearsal is at 19:30 every Tuesday
バプティストとは？
バプティスト派は16世紀の宗教改革の時に生まれた、神、御子、聖霊の三位一体の神を信じ、聖書だけを信仰の基準とするプロテスタントの一派で1609年ジョン・スミスによってイギリスではじまりました。
その後、ピューリタン(清教徒)によってアメリカ大陸で発展していきました。
アメリカでのバプティストが中心で起こった1730年～1740年の第一大リバイバル。1800年～1830年の第二大リバイバルは、その後の奴隷解放宣言へとつながりました。
現在では、アメリカだけでも3300万人のメンバーが いて、世界中にその活動は広がっています。
歴史上の著名人としては、カーター大統領、マーティン・ルーサー牧師、ビリーグラハム、マヘリア・ジャクソン、アレサ・フランクリンなどがバプティストのメンバーです。
「それは、聖書のどこに書いてある？」と、いつも問い、聖書への付け加え取り除きを常にチェックし、また教団・教会内のヒエラルキー（階級）も力強く否定し、自由と平等、教会の独立性を重視するのも特徴の一つです。
